За простувањето и за верата
(Матеј 18:6-7; 21-22; Марко 9:42) 17 Еден ден, Исус им се обрати на Своите ученици: „Искушенија што наведуваат на грев секогаш ќе има, но тешко на оној преку кого доаѓаат! 2 Подобро би било да му врзат воденички камен околу вратот и да го фрлат в море, отколку да наведе на грев некое малечко. 3 Внимавајте на себе! Ако ти згреши братот, укори го, па ако се покае - прости му. 4 Дури и седумпати на ден ако ти згреши и секојпат дојде кај тебе и ти рече: ,Се каам‘ - прости му.“
5 Апостолите Го замолија Господ Исус: „Зголеми ја верата во нас!“ 6 А Исус им одговори: „Ако имате вистинска вера само колку едно синапово зрно, би можеле да и кажете на оваа црница: ,Искорни се и пресади се в море!‘ - и таа ќе ве послуша!“
Должноста на еден слуга
7 „Замислете си дека имате слуга кој сте го пратиле да ора или да ви ги пасе овците. Кога ќе се врати од полето, дали најпрво му велите: ,Седни и бргу вечерај!?‘ 8 Нема ли најпрво да му заповедате да подготви вечера за вас, да се препаше и да ве служи, па дури потоа тој да јаде и да пие? 9 Зар му должите благодарност на слугата што ја извршил вашата заповед? 10 И вие сте во слична положба: ако го извршите сето она што ви е заповедано, можете само да кажете: ,Ние сме само слуги кои си ја вршат својата должност, свесни дека за тоа не ни следува никаква пофалба.‘“
Благодарни и неблагодарни луѓе
11 На Својот пат кон Ерусалим, Исус минуваше по должината на границата меѓу Самарија и Галилеја. 12 Токму кога влегуваше во едно село, Го пресретнаа десет заболени од лепра. Застанаа на извесно растојание 13 и повикаа: ,Исусе! Господару! Имај милост спрема нас!‘ 14 Исус ги погледна и им рече: ,Одете на преглед кај свештениците!‘ Додека одеа таму, оздравеа. 15 Еден од нив, кога виде дека оздраве, се врати кај Исус, славејќи Го Бога на сиот глас. 16 Падна ничкум пред Исусовите нозе и почна да Му се заблагодарува. Тој човек беше Самарјанец[a]. 17 Тогаш Исус рече: „Зар не исцелив десетмина? Каде се останатите девет души?“ 18 Ниеден од нив не се врати да Му заблагодари на Бог, освен овој туѓинец. 19 Потоа Исус му рече: „Стани и оди си, твојата вера те исцели!“
За Божјото царство што ќе дојде
(Матеј 24:23-28, 37-41) 20 Еден ден, некои од фарисеите[b] Го прашаа Исуса: „Кога ќе завладее Божјото царство?“ Неговиот одговор гласеше: „Божјото царство не доаѓа на видлив начин. 21 Не може да се каже: Еве го овде! или Ене го онде! Божјото царство е меѓу[c] самите вас.“
22 Потоа им рече на Своите ученици: „Ќе дојде време кога ќе копнеете да Ме видите Мене, Синот Човечки, макар и само еден ден, но нема да Ме видите. 23 Ќе има луѓе што ќе ви зборуваат: ,Ене Го онде!‘ или ,Еве Го овде!‘ 24 Не одете по нив да Го барате, зашто, како што молскавицата светка на едниот крај на небото, а болскотот и се гледа до другиот крај, така ќе биде и со Синот Човечки[d] на денот на Неговото враќање. 25 Но Тој најпрво ќе мора да настрада и да биде отфрлен од оваа генерација.
26 Во времето кога ќе се вратам Јас, Синот Човечки, состојбата во светот ќе биде слична со онаа во времето на Ное: 27 луѓето си продолжуваа да јадат, да пијат, да се женат и да се мажат, сe додека Ное не влезе во ковчегот и настапи потопот, кој сите нив ги погуби. 28 Состојбата во светот ќе биде како во времето на Лот: луѓето си продолжуваа да јадат, да пијат, да купуваат и да продаваат, да садат и да градат. 29 Но штом Лот излезе од Содом, од небото се истури оган и сулфур и сите ги погуби. 30 Истото ќе се случи и кога ќе се вратам Јас, Синот Човечки.
31 Во тој ден, оној што ќе се најде на покрив, нека не слегува по својата покуќнина! Тој што ќе се најде в поле, нека не се враќа дома! 32 Сетете се што и се случи на Лотовата жена! 33 Оној што ќе настојува грчовито да си го зачува животот - ќе го загуби, а тој што до смрт ќе го вложи во Божја служба - ќе го запази! 34 Таа ноќ, од двајца што ќе спијат во ист кревет - едниот ќе биде земен, а другиот оставен. 35 Од две жени што ќе мелат заедно - едната ќе биде земена, а другата оставена. 36 [e]
37 Учениците Го запрашаа: „Кај ќе се случи тоа, Господе?“ Тој им одговори: „Каде што е мршата - таму ќе се соберат и мршојадците!“

Sin, Faith, Duty
17 Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble(A) are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come.(B) 2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones(C) to stumble.(D) 3 So watch yourselves.
“If your brother or sister[a] sins against you, rebuke them;(E) and if they repent, forgive them.(F) 4 Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”(G)
5 The apostles(H) said to the Lord,(I) “Increase our faith!”
6 He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed,(J) you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.(K)
7 “Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Will he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’? 8 Won’t he rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me(L) while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’? 9 Will he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? 10 So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”(M)
Jesus Heals Ten Men With Leprosy
11 Now on his way to Jerusalem,(N) Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.(O) 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy[b](P) met him. They stood at a distance(Q) 13 and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master,(R) have pity on us!”
14 When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.”(S) And as they went, they were cleansed.
15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God(T) in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.(U)
17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”(V)
The Coming of the Kingdom of God(W)
20 Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come,(X) Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, 21 nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’(Y) because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”[c]
22 Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man,(Z) but you will not see it.(AA) 23 People will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them.(AB) 24 For the Son of Man in his day[d] will be like the lightning,(AC) which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other. 25 But first he must suffer many things(AD) and be rejected(AE) by this generation.(AF)
26 “Just as it was in the days of Noah,(AG) so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
28 “It was the same in the days of Lot.(AH) People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
30 “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.(AI) 31 On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything.(AJ) 32 Remember Lot’s wife!(AK) 33 Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it.(AL) 34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. 35 Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.”(AM) [36] [e]
37 “Where, Lord?” they asked.
He replied, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.”(AN)

17 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32 Remember Lot's wife.
33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
