Kurdi Sorani Standard
20 شەراب گاڵتەجاڕە و مەستی غەڵبەغەڵب دەکات،
ئەوەی پێی وێڵ بێت دانا نییە.
2 هەڵچوونی پاشا وەک نەڕەی شێرە،
ئەوەی تووڕەیی بکات لە دژی گیانی خۆی تاوان دەکات.
3 وازهێنان لە ناکۆکی ڕێزدارییە بۆ پیاو،
بەڵام هەموو گێلێک هەڵیدەگیرسێنێت.
4 لە زستاندا تەمبەڵ زەوی ناکێڵێت،
بۆیە لە دروێنەدا سواڵ دەکات و دەستی ناکەوێت.
5 پلان لە دڵی مرۆڤدا ئاوێکی قووڵە،
بەڵام تێگەیشتوو دەریدەهێنێت.
6 زۆر کەس بانگەشەی خۆشەویستی نەگۆڕ دەکەن،
بەڵام کەسی جێگای متمانە کێ دەیدۆزێتەوە؟
7 کەسی ڕاستودروست بە ڕێگای تەواوی خۆیدا دەڕوات،
دوای خۆی خۆزگە بە منداڵەکانی دەخوازرێت.
8 پاشای دانیشتوو لەسەر تەختی دادوەری،
بە چاوەکانی هەموو خراپەیەک شەن دەکات.
9 کێیە دەڵێت: «دڵی خۆمم بێگەرد ڕاگرت،
پاک بوومەوە لە گوناهم»؟
10 دوو کێش و دوو پێوانەی لاسەنگ[a]،
هەردووکیان قێزەونن لەلای یەزدان.
11 تەنانەت منداڵیش بە کردارەکانی دەناسرێت،
ئاخۆ کردەوەکەی پاک و ڕاستە.
12 گوێ کە دەبیستێت و چاو کە دەبینێت،
یەزدان دروستکەری هەردووکیانە.
13 حەز لە خەو مەکە نەوەک هەژار بیت،
چاوت کراوە بێت و تێر نان بە.
14 کڕیار دەڵێت: «خراپە، خراپە!»
بەڵام کە ڕۆیشت شانازی پێوە دەکات.
15 زێڕ هەیە و یاقووت[b] زۆرە،
بەڵام لێوی زانیاری گەوهەرێکی بەهادارە.
16 ئەگەر کەسێک بووە کەفیلی نامۆیەک کەواکەی لێ وەربگرە،
لەبەر بێگانەکە بارمتەی لێ وەربگرە.
17 بەتامە بۆ مرۆڤ نانی بە فێڵ،
بەڵام دواتر دەمی پڕ دەبێت لە چەو.
18 پلانەکان بە ئامۆژگاری دێنە دی،
بە ڕاوێژ بجەنگە.
19 دەمشڕ نهێنی ئاشکرا دەکات،
بۆیە تێکەڵی چەنەباز مەبە.
20 ئەوەی نەفرەت لە دایک و باوکی بکات،
لەناو جەرگەی تاریکیدا چرای دەکوژرێتەوە.
21 میراتێک لە سەرەتای ژیان و بە زوویی دەست بکەوێت
کۆتاییەکەی بێ بەرەکەت دەبێت.
22 مەڵێ: «خراپە بە خراپە دەدەمەوە.»
چاوەڕێی یەزدان بکە ڕزگارت دەکات.
23 یەزدان قێزی لە بەکارهێنانی دوو کێشی جیاواز دەبێتەوە،
تەرازووی لاسەنگ باش نییە.
24 هەنگاوەکانی مرۆڤ لە یەزدانەوەیە،
ئیتر مرۆڤ چۆن لە ڕێگای خۆی تێدەگات؟
25 تەڵەیە بۆ مرۆڤ بە سەرەڕۆیی نەزرێک تەرخان بکات،
ئینجا پاش نەزرەکە پرسوڕا بکات.
26 پاشای دانا بەدکاران شەن دەکات،
بە جەنجەڕ بەسەریاندا دێت.
27 چرای یەزدان ڕۆحی مرۆڤ دەپشکنێت،
هەروەها هەموو ناخی دەروونیش.
28 خۆشەویستی نەگۆڕ و دڵسۆزی پاشا دەپارێزن،
بە خۆشەویستی نەگۆڕ تەختی دەچەسپێت.
29 شانازی لاوان هێزیانە،
ڕیش سپیێتیش شکۆمەندی پیرانە.
30 برینی لێدان خراپە پاک دەکاتەوە،
لێدانی قامچیش ناخی دەروون.
Proverbs 20
New International Version
2 A king’s wrath strikes terror like the roar of a lion;(E)
those who anger him forfeit their lives.(F)
5 The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters,(K)
but one who has insight draws them out.
6 Many claim to have unfailing love,
but a faithful person who can find?(L)
10 Differing weights and differing measures—
the Lord detests them both.(S)
11 Even small children are known by their actions,
so is their conduct really pure(T) and upright?
12 Ears that hear and eyes that see—
the Lord has made them both.(U)
13 Do not love sleep or you will grow poor;(V)
stay awake and you will have food to spare.
14 “It’s no good, it’s no good!” says the buyer—
then goes off and boasts about the purchase.
15 Gold there is, and rubies in abundance,
but lips that speak knowledge are a rare jewel.
16 Take the garment of one who puts up security for a stranger;
hold it in pledge(W) if it is done for an outsider.(X)
18 Plans are established by seeking advice;
so if you wage war, obtain guidance.(AA)
19 A gossip betrays a confidence;(AB)
so avoid anyone who talks too much.
20 If someone curses their father or mother,(AC)
their lamp will be snuffed out in pitch darkness.(AD)
21 An inheritance claimed too soon
will not be blessed at the end.
22 Do not say, “I’ll pay you back for this wrong!”(AE)
Wait for the Lord, and he will avenge you.(AF)
23 The Lord detests differing weights,
and dishonest scales do not please him.(AG)
24 A person’s steps are directed(AH) by the Lord.(AI)
How then can anyone understand their own way?(AJ)
25 It is a trap to dedicate something rashly
and only later to consider one’s vows.(AK)
26 A wise king winnows out the wicked;
he drives the threshing wheel over them.(AL)
29 The glory of young men is their strength,
gray hair the splendor of the old.(AQ)
