And he smote Moab, and the Moabites became David’s servants, and [a]brought gifts.

¶ And David smote [b]Hadadezer King of Zobah unto Hamath, as he went to establish his border by the river [c]Perath.

And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen, and (A)destroyed all the chariots, but he reserved of them an hundred chariots.
