28 “but their duty will be to assist the descendants of Aaron with the service of the Lord’s temple, being responsible for the courts and the chambers, the purification of all the holy things, and the work of the service of God’s temple— 29 as well as the rows of the Bread of the Presence,(A) the fine flour for the grain offering,(B) the wafers of unleavened bread, the baking,[a](C) the mixing,(D) and all measurements of volume and length.(E) 30 They are also to stand every morning to give thanks and praise to the Lord, and likewise in the evening. 31 Whenever burnt offerings are offered to the Lord on the Sabbaths, New Moons,(F) and appointed festivals, they are to offer them regularly in the Lord’s presence according to the number prescribed for them.(G)

28 The duty of the Levites was to help Aaron’s descendants in the service of the temple of the Lord: to be in charge of the courtyards, the side rooms, the purification(A) of all sacred things and the performance of other duties at the house of God. 29 They were in charge of the bread set out on the table,(B) the special flour for the grain offerings,(C) the thin loaves made without yeast, the baking and the mixing, and all measurements of quantity and size.(D) 30 They were also to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord. They were to do the same in the evening(E) 31 and whenever burnt offerings were presented to the Lord on the Sabbaths, at the New Moon(F) feasts and at the appointed festivals.(G) They were to serve before the Lord regularly in the proper number and in the way prescribed for them.
