⁹ “As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and ^(A)serve Him with ^[a]a whole heart and a delighted soul; ^(B)for Yahweh searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. ^(C)If you seek Him, He will be found; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.

²⁴ But Jesus, ^[a]on His part, was not entrusting Himself to them, for ^(A)He knew all men, ²⁵ and because He had no need that anyone bear witness concerning man, ^(B)for He Himself knew what was in man.
