1 Chronicles 29:13-15

13 Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious Name.
14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer willingly after this sort? for all things [a]come of thee: and of thine own hand we have given thee.
15 For we are [b]strangers before thee, and sojourners like all our fathers: our days are like the shadow upon the earth, and there is none [c]abiding.

New International Version
13 Now, our God, we give you thanks,
and praise your glorious name.
14 “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?(A) Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.(B) 15 We are foreigners and strangers(C) in your sight, as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow,(D) without hope.
