7 And they gave for the service of the house of God, five thousand talents of gold, and ten thousand pieces, and ten thousand talents of silver, and eighteen thousand talents of brass, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.
8 And they with whom precious stones were [a]found, gave them to the treasure of the house of the Lord, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.
9 And the people rejoiced when they offered willingly: for they offered willingly unto the Lord, with a [b]perfect heart. And David the king also (A)rejoiced with great joy.

New International Version
7 They(A) gave toward the work on the temple of God five thousand talents[a] and ten thousand darics[b] of gold, ten thousand talents[c] of silver, eighteen thousand talents[d] of bronze and a hundred thousand talents[e] of iron. 8 Anyone who had precious stones(B) gave them to the treasury of the temple of the Lord in the custody of Jehiel the Gershonite.(C) 9 The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly(D) to the Lord. David the king also rejoiced greatly.
