²⁰ They were helped against them, and the Hagrites and all who were with them were given into their hand; for ^(A)they cried out to God in the battle, and He was moved by their entreaty because ^(B)they trusted in Him.

Yahweh Eradicates the Multitude

²⁰ And they rose early in the morning and went out to the wilderness of Tekoa; and when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, O Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, ^(A)establish your faith in Yahweh your God and you will be established. Establish your faith in His prophets and succeed.”

^17 [a]If it be so, our ^(A)God whom we serve is able to save us from the furnace of blazing fire; ^[b]and ^(B)He will save us out of your hand, O king.

²⁸ Nebuchadnezzar answered and said, “Blessed be the ^(A)God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who has ^(B)sent His angel and saved His servants who put their ^(C)trust in Him, ^[a]violating the king’s word, and gave up their bodies so as ^(D)not to serve and not to worship any god except their own God.
