¹⁴ The sons of Manasseh were

Asriel, whom his Aramean concubine bore. She also bore Makir the father of Gilead. ¹⁵ Now Makir took a wife for Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister’s name was Maakah.

The name of the second was Zelophehad, and Zelophehad had daughters.

¹⁶ Maakah the wife of Makir bore a son, and she called his name Peresh. His brother’s name was Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.
