1 Corinthians 11:5-7
American Standard Version
5 But every woman praying or prophesying with her head unveiled dishonoreth her head; for it is one and the same thing as if she were shaven. 6 For if a woman is not veiled, let her also be shorn: but if it is a shame to a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be veiled. 7 For a man indeed ought not to have his head veiled, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

1 Corinthians 11:5-7
New International Version
5 But every woman who prays or prophesies(A) with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is the same as having her head shaved.(B) 6 For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head.
7 A man ought not to cover his head,[a] since he is the image(C) and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.
