^27 (A) When the Scriptures say he will put everything under his power, they don't include God. It was God who put everything under the power of Christ.

^22 (A)(B) God has put all things under the power of Christ, and for the good of the church he has made him the head of everything.

God has put everything under our power and has not left anything out of our power. But we still don't see it all under our control.
