46 It is not the spiritual that comes first, but the physical, and then the spiritual. 47 The first Adam, made of earth, came from the earth; the second Adam came from heaven. 48 Those who belong to the earth are like the one who was made of earth; those who are of heaven are like the one who came from heaven.

46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual.(A) 47 The first man was of the dust of the earth;(B) the second man is of heaven.(C) 48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven.(D)
