⁵⁵“Where, O Death, is your victory?
Where, O Death, is your sting?”^[a]

⁵⁶Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Torah. ⁵⁷But thanks be to God, who keeps giving us the victory through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah!
