15 Now I beg you, brothers—you know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have set themselves to serve the saints— 16 that you also be in subjection to such, and to everyone who helps in the work and labors. 17 I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus; for that which was lacking on your part, they supplied.

15 You know that the household of Stephanas(A) were the first converts(B) in Achaia,(C) and they have devoted themselves to the service(D) of the Lord’s people.(E) I urge you, brothers and sisters, 16 to submit(F) to such people and to everyone who joins in the work and labors at it. 17 I was glad when Stephanas, Fortunatus and Achaicus arrived, because they have supplied what was lacking from you.(G)
