8 None of the rulers of this age understood it—for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written,
“Things no eye has seen
and no ear has heard,
that have not entered the heart of mankind—
these things God has prepared
for those who love Him.”[a]
10 But God revealed these things to us through the Ruach.[b] For the Ruach searches all things—even the depths of God.

New International Version
8 None of the rulers of this age(A) understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.(B) 9 However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”[a]—
the things God has prepared for those who love him—(C)
10 these are the things God has revealed(D) to us by his Spirit.(E)
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
