1 Corinthians 7:21-23
New American Standard Bible
21 Were you called as a slave? Do not let it concern you. But if you are also able to become free, take advantage of that. 22 For the one who was called in the Lord as a slave, is (A)the Lord’s freed person; likewise the one who was called as free, is (B)Christ’s slave. 23 (C)You were bought for a price; do not become slaves of people.

21 Were you a slave when you were called? Don’t let it trouble you—although if you can gain your freedom, do so. 22 For the one who was a slave when called to faith in the Lord is the Lord’s freed person;(A) similarly, the one who was free when called is Christ’s slave.(B) 23 You were bought at a price;(C) do not become slaves of human beings.
