21 I write to you not because you do not know the truth but because you do, and because every lie is alien to the truth.(A) 22 [a]Who is the liar? Whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Whoever denies the Father and the Son, this is the antichrist.(B) 23 No one who denies the Son has the Father, but whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well.(C)

21 I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it(A) and because no lie comes from the truth. 22 Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son.(B) 23 No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.(C)
