22 (A)[a]And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things which are pleasing in his sight.
23 (B)This is then his commandment, that we believe in the Name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave commandment.
24 (C)For he that keepeth his commandments, dwelleth in him, and he in him: and hereby we know that he abideth in us, even by that [b]Spirit which he hath given us.

22 and receive from him anything we ask,(A) because we keep his commands(B) and do what pleases him.(C) 23 And this is his command: to believe(D) in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ,(E) and to love one another as he commanded us.(F) 24 The one who keeps God’s commands(G) lives in him,(H) and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.(I)
