1 John 4:15-17
New Testament for Everyone
15 Anyone who confesses that Jesus is God’s son, God abides in them and they abide in God. 16 And we have known and have believed the love which God has for us.
God is love; those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. 17 This is what makes love complete for us, so that we may have boldness and confidence on the day of judgment, because just as he is, so are we within this world.

15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God,(A) God lives in them and they in God.(B) 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love.(C) Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.(D) 17 This is how love is made complete(E) among us so that we will have confidence(F) on the day of judgment:(G) In this world we are like Jesus.
