6 We are of God, and whoever knows God listens to us. Whoever is not of God does not listen to us. This is how we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
God Is Love
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

7 Dear friends, let us love one another,(D) for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God(E) and knows God.(F) 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.(G)
