30 I will surely carry out this very day what I swore(A) to you by the Lord, the God of Israel: Solomon your son shall be king after me, and he will sit on my throne in my place.”
1 Chronicles 22:9-13

9 Behold, a son will be born to you, who shall be a man of rest, and (A)I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side; for (B)his name will be [a]Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Israel in his days. 10 (C)He shall build a house for My name, and he shall be My son and I will be his Father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’ 11 Now, my son, (D)the Lord be with you that you may be successful, and build the house of the Lord your God just as He has spoken concerning you. 12 (E)Only the Lord give you discretion and understanding, and put you in charge of Israel, so that you may (F)keep the Law of the Lord your God. 13 (G)Then you will prosper, if you are careful to [b]follow the statutes and the ordinances which the Lord commanded Moses concerning Israel. (H)Be strong and courageous, do not fear nor be dismayed.

New International Version
9 But you will have a son who will be a man of peace(A) and rest,(B) and I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side. His name will be Solomon,[a](C) and I will grant Israel peace and quiet(D) during his reign. 10 He is the one who will build a house for my Name.(E) He will be my son,(F) and I will be his father. And I will establish(G) the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’(H)
11 “Now, my son, the Lord be with(I) you, and may you have success and build the house of the Lord your God, as he said you would. 12 May the Lord give you discretion and understanding(J) when he puts you in command over Israel, so that you may keep the law of the Lord your God. 13 Then you will have success(K) if you are careful to observe the decrees and laws(L) that the Lord gave Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous.(M) Do not be afraid or discouraged.
