25 (A)And they brought every man his present, articles of silver and gold, garments, weapons, spices, horses, and mules, a set amount year by year.
26 (B)And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen. And he had 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horsemen and [a]stationed them in the (C)chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem. 27 (D)The king also made silver as plentiful as stones in Jerusalem, and he made cedars as plentiful as sycamore trees that are in the [b]Shephelah.

New International Version
25 Year after year, everyone who came brought a gift(A)—articles of silver and gold, robes, weapons and spices, and horses and mules.
26 Solomon accumulated chariots and horses;(B) he had fourteen hundred chariots and twelve thousand horses,[a] which he kept in the chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem. 27 The king made silver as common(C) in Jerusalem as stones,(D) and cedar as plentiful as sycamore-fig(E) trees in the foothills.
