22 And the people of (A)Judah did evil in the sight of the Lord, and they (B)provoked Him to jealousy with their sins which they [a]committed, more than all that their fathers had done. 23 For they, too, built for themselves (C)high places, (D)memorial stones, and [b](E)Asherim on every high hill and (F)under every luxuriant tree.
