1 Kings 2:45-46
New American Standard Bible
45 But King Solomon will be blessed, and (A)the throne of David will be established before the Lord forever.” 46 (B)So the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and he went out and [a]struck him so that he died.
(C)And the kingdom was established in the hands of Solomon.

45 But King Solomon will be blessed, and David’s throne will remain secure(A) before the Lord forever.”
46 Then the king gave the order to Benaiah(B) son of Jehoiada, and he went out and struck Shimei(C) down and he died.
The kingdom was now established(D) in Solomon’s hands.
