9 But you should not leave him unpunished. You are a wise man. You will know what to do to him. But you must be sure he is killed.”
10 Then David died and was buried with his ancestors in Jerusalem. 11 He had ruled over Israel 40 years. Seven years were in Hebron, and 33 years were in Jerusalem.

9 But now, do not consider him innocent. You are a man of wisdom;(A) you will know what to do to him. Bring his gray head down to the grave in blood.”
10 Then David rested with his ancestors and was buried(B) in the City of David.(C) 11 He had reigned(D) forty years over Israel—seven years in Hebron and thirty-three in Jerusalem.
