¹⁶The king said to him, “How many times must I make you swear to tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?”

¹⁶And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the Lord?

⁴³Never take your word of truth from my mouth,^(A)
for I have put my hope^(B) in your laws.

⁴³And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.

¹⁷Sanctify them by^[a] the truth; your word is truth.^(A)
