²¹ Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord, and said, ‘I will ^[a]entice him.’ ²² And the Lord said to him, ‘How?’ And he said, ‘I will go out and ^(A)be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his prophets.’ Then He said, ‘You shall ^[b]entice him, and you will also prevail. Go and do so.’ ²³ Now then, behold, ^(B)the Lord has put a deceiving spirit in the mouth of all these prophets of yours; and the Lord has declared disaster against you.”

Victory for the Lamb

¹⁴ These will wage ^(A)war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will ^(B)overcome them because He is ^(C)Lord of lords and ^(D)King of kings; and ^(E)those who are with Him are the ^(F)called and chosen and faithful.”

¹⁹ And I saw ^(A)the beast and ^(B)the kings of the earth and their armies, assembled to make war against Him who ^(C)sat on the horse, and against His army.

⁸ and will come out to ^(A)deceive the nations which are at the ^(B)four corners of the earth, ^(C)Gog and Magog, to ^(D)gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the ^(E)sand of the ^[a]seashore.
