⁴² for they will hear of your great name,
strong hand,^(A) and outstretched arm,
and will come^(B) and pray toward this temple—
⁴³ may you hear in heaven, your dwelling place,
and do according to all the foreigner asks.
Then all peoples of earth will know^(C) your name,
to fear you as your people Israel do
and to know that this temple I have built
bears your name.

¹⁰ “You are my witnesses”^(A)—
this is the Lord’s declaration—
“and my servant whom I have chosen,^(B)
so that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.^(C)
No god was formed before me,
and there will be none after me.^(D)
11 I—I am the Lord.
