⁵⁰ and forgive Your people who have sinned against You and all their wrongdoings which they have committed against You, and ^(A)make them objects of compassion before those who have taken them captive, so that they will have compassion on them

⁹ For ^(A)if you return to the Lord, your brothers and your sons will find compassion in the presence of those who led them captive, and will return to this land. ^(B)For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate, and will not turn His face away from you if you return to Him.”

^9 (A)For we are slaves; yet in our bondage our God has not abandoned us, but ^(B)has extended favor to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us reviving to erect the house of our God, to restore its ruins, and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.

¹¹ Please, Lord, ^(A)may Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant and the prayer of Your servants who delight to ^[a]revere Your name, and please make Your servant successful today and grant him mercy before this man.”

¹² I will also show you compassion, so that ^(A)he will have compassion on you and restore you to your own soil.
