14 (Hiram had also sent to the king 120 talents[a] of gold.)
15 Now this was the purpose of the forced labor that King Solomon had imposed to build Adonai’s House, his own house, the Millo, the wall of Jerusalem, Hazor, Megiddo and Gezer. 16 Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up, captured Gezer, burned it with fire, killed the Canaanites who dwelt in the city, and given it as a dowry for his daughter, Solomon’s wife.

New International Version
14 Now Hiram had sent to the king 120 talents[a] of gold.(A)
15 Here is the account of the forced labor King Solomon conscripted(B) to build the Lord’s temple, his own palace, the terraces,[b](C) the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor,(D) Megiddo and Gezer.(E) 16 (Pharaoh king of Egypt had attacked and captured Gezer. He had set it on fire. He killed its Canaanite inhabitants and then gave it as a wedding gift to his daughter,(F) Solomon’s wife.
