²⁸They sailed to Ophir^(A) and brought back 420 talents^[a] of gold,^(B) which they delivered to King Solomon.

²⁸And they came to Ophir, and fetched from thence gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to king Solomon.

¹⁶It cannot be bought with the gold of Ophir,^(A)
with precious onyx or lapis lazuli.^(B)

¹⁶It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.

¹²I will make people^(A) scarcer than pure gold,
more rare than the gold of Ophir.^(B)

¹²I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
