14 Behave like obedient children. Don't let your lives be controlled by your desires, as they used to be. 15 Always live as God's holy people should, because God is the one who chose you, and he is holy. 16 (A) That's why the Scriptures say, “I am the holy God, and you must be holy too.”

14 As obedient(A) children, do not conform(B) to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.(C) 15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;(D) 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”[a](E)
