1 Peter 1:15-17

¹⁵but as he who has called you is holy, be ye also holy in all [your] conversation;

¹⁶because it is written, Be ye holy, for *I* am holy.

¹⁷And if ye invoke as Father him who, without regard of persons, judges according to the work of each, pass your time of sojourn in fear,

¹⁵But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;^(A) ¹⁶for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”^[a]^(B)

¹⁷Since you call on a Father^(C) who judges each person’s work^(D) impartially,^(E) live out your time as foreigners^(F) here in reverent fear.^(G)
