You love Him,(A) though you have not seen(B) Him. And though not seeing Him now, you believe in Him and rejoice(C) with inexpressible and glorious joy, because you are receiving the goal of your[a] faith, the salvation of your souls.[b]

10 Concerning this salvation, the prophets(D) who prophesied about the grace that would come to you searched and carefully investigated.
