1 Peter 2:17-19
Amplified Bible
17 Show respect for all people [treat them honorably], love the brotherhood [of believers], fear God, honor the king.
18 [a]Servants, be submissive to your masters with all [proper] respect, not only to those who are good and kind, but also to those who are unreasonable. 19 For this finds favor, if a person endures the sorrow of suffering unjustly because of an [b]awareness of [the will of] God.

17 Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers,(A) fear God, honor the emperor.(B)
18 Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters,(C) not only to those who are good and considerate,(D) but also to those who are harsh. 19 For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God.(E)
