1 Peter 3:5-7
Holman Christian Standard Bible
5 For in the past, the holy(A) women who put their hope(B) in God also beautified themselves in this way, submitting to their own husbands, 6 just as Sarah(C) obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. You have become her children when you do what is good and are not frightened by anything alarming.(D)
7 Husbands,(E) in the same way, live with your wives with an understanding of their weaker nature[a](F) yet showing them honor as coheirs of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.

1 Peter 3:5-7
New International Version
5 For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God(A) used to adorn themselves.(B) They submitted themselves to their own husbands, 6 like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord.(C) You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.
7 Husbands,(D) in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
