1 Peter 3:5-7
Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition
5 So once the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves and were submissive to their husbands, 6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. And you are now her children if you do right and let nothing terrify you.
7 Likewise you husbands, live considerately with your wives, bestowing honor on the woman as the weaker sex, since you are joint heirs of the grace of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered.

1 Peter 3:5-7
New International Version
5 For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God(A) used to adorn themselves.(B) They submitted themselves to their own husbands, 6 like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord.(C) You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.
7 Husbands,(D) in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
