2 And now, see, the king walks before you, but I am old and gray-headed. As for my sons, they are with you. But I have walked before you from my childhood to this day. 3 Behold, here I am. Witness against me before the Lord and before His anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Or whose donkey have I taken? Or whom have I defrauded? Whom have I oppressed? Or from whose hand have I received any bribe to blind my eyes with? Indeed I will restore it you.”
4 They said, “You have not defrauded us, nor oppressed us. Neither have you taken anything from any man’s hand.”

2 Now you have a king as your leader.(A) As for me, I am old and gray, and my sons(B) are here with you. I have been your leader from my youth until this day. 3 Here I stand. Testify against me in the presence of the Lord and his anointed.(C) Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey(D) have I taken? Whom have I cheated? Whom have I oppressed? From whose hand have I accepted a bribe(E) to make me shut my eyes? If I have done(F) any of these things, I will make it right.”(G)
4 “You have not cheated or oppressed us,” they replied. “You have not taken anything from anyone’s hand.”
