1 Samuel 15:2-4
New English Translation
2 Here is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies has said: ‘I carefully observed how the Amalekites opposed[a] Israel along the way when Israel[b] came up from Egypt. 3 So go now and strike down the Amalekites. Destroy everything they have. Don’t spare[c] them. Put them to death—man, woman, child, infant, ox, sheep, camel, and donkey alike.’”
4 So Saul assembled[d] the army[e] and mustered them at Telaim. There were 200,000 foot soldiers and 10,000 men of Judah.

New International Version
2 This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘I will punish the Amalekites(A) for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt. 3 Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally(B) destroy[a] all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’”
