1 Samuel 16:12-14

12 So he sent for him and brought him in. His youngest son had good color in his skin, beautiful eyes and was good-looking. The Lord said, “Rise up and choose him. For this is the one.” 13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil and poured the oil on him in front of his brothers. The Spirit of the Lord came upon David with strength from that day on. And Samuel got up and went to Ramah.
Saul’s Spirit Is Troubled
14 Now the Spirit of the Lord left Saul. And a bad spirit sent from the Lord brought trouble upon him.

New International Version
12 So he(A) sent for him and had him brought in. He was glowing with health and had a fine appearance and handsome(B) features.
Then the Lord said, “Rise and anoint him; this is the one.”
13 So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed(C) him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord(D) came powerfully upon David.(E) Samuel then went to Ramah.

14 Now the Spirit of the Lord had departed(F) from Saul, and an evil[a] spirit(G) from the Lord tormented him.(H)
