1 Samuel 17:36-38
Good News Translation
36 I have killed lions and bears, and I will do the same to this heathen Philistine, who has defied the army of the living God. 37 The Lord has saved me from lions and bears; he will save me from this Philistine.”
“All right,” Saul answered. “Go, and the Lord be with you.” 38 He gave his own armor to David for him to wear: a bronze helmet, which he put on David's head, and a coat of armor.

New International Version
36 Your servant has killed both the lion(A) and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. 37 The Lord who rescued(B) me from the paw of the lion(C) and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.”
Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with(D) you.”
38 Then Saul dressed David in his own(E) tunic. He put a coat of armor on him and a bronze helmet on his head.
