6 He also had bronze [a]greaves on his legs and a (A)bronze javelin slung between his shoulders. 7 (B)The shaft of his spear was like a weaver’s beam, and the head of his spear weighed six hundred shekels of iron; (C)his shield-carrier also walked before him. 8 He stood and shouted to the ranks of Israel and said to them, “Why do you come out to draw up in battle array? Am I not the Philistine and you (D)servants of Saul? Choose a man for yourselves and let him come down to me.

6 on his legs he wore bronze greaves, and a bronze javelin(A) was slung on his back. 7 His spear shaft was like a weaver’s rod,(B) and its iron point weighed six hundred shekels.[a] His shield bearer(C) went ahead of him.
8 Goliath stood and shouted to the ranks of Israel, “Why do you come out and line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and are you not the servants of Saul? Choose(D) a man and have him come down to me.
