⁷ For ^(A)nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be ^(B)famines and earthquakes.

⁸ For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; there will also be famines. These things are merely the beginning of birth pains.

¹¹ and there will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and plagues; and there will be terrors and great ^[a]signs from heaven.

¹³ And in that hour there was a great ^(A)earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; ^[a]seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and ^(B)gave glory to the ^(C)God of heaven.

¹⁹ And ^(A)the sanctuary of God which is in heaven was opened, and ^(B)the ark of His covenant appeared in His sanctuary, and there were flashes of ^(C)lightning and sounds and peals of thunder and an earthquake and a ^(D)great ^[a]hailstorm.

¹⁸ And there were flashes of ^(A)lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was ^(B)a great earthquake, ^(C)such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty.
