1 Samuel 2:9

⁹^(A)He watches over the feet of His godly ones,
^(B)But the wicked ones are silenced in darkness;
^(C)For not by might shall a person prevail.

New International Version

⁹He will guard the feet^(A) of his faithful servants,^(B)
but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness.^(C)

“It is not by strength^(D) that one prevails;

⁹Who ^[a]^(A)keeps us in life,
And ^(B)does not allow our feet to ^[b]slip.

⁹he has preserved our lives^(A)
and kept our feet from slipping.^(B)
