18 Jonathan said to him, ‘Tomorrow is the new moon; you will be missed, because your place will be empty. 19 On the day after tomorrow, you shall go a long way down; go to the place where you hid yourself earlier, and remain beside the stone there.[a]

17 And Jonathan had David reaffirm his oath(A) out of love for him, because he loved him as he loved himself.
18 Then Jonathan said to David, “Tomorrow is the New Moon feast. You will be missed, because your seat will be empty.(B) 19 The day after tomorrow, toward evening, go to the place where you hid(C) when this trouble began, and wait by the stone Ezel.
