⁹But David knew that Saul was plotting evil against him; so he said to ^(A)Abiathar the priest, “^(B)Bring the ephod here.”

New International Version

⁹When David learned that Saul was plotting against him, he said to Abiathar^(A) the priest, “Bring the ephod.^(B)”

⁷Then ^(A)David said to ^(B)Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech, “Please bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

⁷Then David said to Abiathar^(A) the priest, the son of Ahimelek, “Bring me the ephod.^(B)” Abiathar brought it to him,
