22 (A)May God do so to the enemies of David, and more also, (B)if by morning I leave as much as one [a]male of any who belong to him.”
23 When Abigail saw David, she hurried and dismounted from her donkey, and fell on her face before David (C)and bowed herself to the ground. 24 She fell at his feet and said, “On me [b]alone, my lord, be the blame. And please let your maidservant speak [c]to you, and listen to the words of your maidservant.

22 May God deal with David,[a] be it ever so severely,(A) if by morning I leave alive one male(B) of all who belong to him!”
23 When Abigail saw David, she quickly got off her donkey and bowed down before David with her face to the ground.(C) 24 She fell at his feet and said: “Pardon your servant, my lord,(D) and let me speak to you; hear what your servant has to say.
