1 Samuel 25:26-28
1599 Geneva Bible
26 Now therefore my lord, as the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth (the Lord, I say, that hath withholden thee from coming to shed blood, and that thine [a]hand should not save thee) so now thine enemies shall be as Nabal, and they that intend to do my lord evil.
27 And now this [b]blessing which thine handmaid hath brought unto my lord, let it be given unto the young men, that [c]follow my lord.
28 I pray thee, forgive the trespass of thine handmaid: for the Lord will make my lord a [d]sure house, because my lord fighteth the battles of the Lord, and none evil hath been found in thee [e]in all thy life.

New International Version
26 And now, my lord, as surely as the Lord your God lives and as you live, since the Lord has kept you from bloodshed(A) and from avenging(B) yourself with your own hands, may your enemies and all who are intent on harming my lord be like Nabal.(C) 27 And let this gift,(D) which your servant has brought to my lord, be given to the men who follow you.
28 “Please forgive(E) your servant’s presumption. The Lord your God will certainly make a lasting(F) dynasty for my lord, because you fight the Lord’s battles,(G) and no wrongdoing(H) will be found in you as long as you live.
