2 David said to Achish, “Then you will know for sure what your servant can do.” Achish said to David, “You will, therefore, be my bodyguard from now on.”
3 Samuel was dead, and all of Israel had mourned for him and had buried him in Ramah, his own city. Saul had expelled mediums and wizards from out of the land. 4 The Philistines assembled together and went and camped at Shunem. Saul gathered together all of Israel and they camped at Gilboa.

Achish replied, “Very well, I will make you my bodyguard(A) for life.”
Saul and the Medium at Endor
3 Now Samuel was dead,(B) and all Israel had mourned for him and buried him in his own town of Ramah.(C) Saul had expelled(D) the mediums and spiritists(E) from the land.
4 The Philistines assembled and came and set up camp at Shunem,(F) while Saul gathered all Israel and set up camp at Gilboa.(G)

3 Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.
4 And the Philistines gathered themselves together, and came and pitched in Shunem: and Saul gathered all Israel together, and they pitched in Gilboa.
