23 He refused, saying, “I won’t eat,” but when his servants and the woman urged him, he listened to them.(A) He got up off the ground and sat on the bed.(B)
24 The woman had a fattened calf at her house, and she quickly slaughtered it.(C) She also took flour, kneaded it, and baked unleavened bread. 25 She served it to Saul and his servants, and they ate. Afterward, they got up and left that night.

New International Version
23 He refused(A) and said, “I will not eat.”
But his men joined the woman in urging him, and he listened to them. He got up from the ground and sat on the couch.
24 The woman had a fattened calf(B) at the house, which she butchered at once. She took some flour, kneaded it and baked bread without yeast. 25 Then she set it before Saul and his men, and they ate. That same night they got up and left.
